Situated just south of Klausen is Kastelruth – center of folk music legend that three decades long has been writing an incredible successful story: the Kastelruther Spatzen. Tens of thousands of Spatzen fans turn this idyllic Kastelruth into the Sanctuary of folk music along three days. In the marquee they properly play and also a plenty of food and drinks of course do not miss. The Kastelruther Spatzen festival and the Kastelruther Spatzen Open Air in June are aimed at all those who want to experience once this group in their homeland – a large part of the year they are actually on tour in all German-speaking countries. The musical celebration begins with a pre-lunch drink and continues in the covered tent well into the evening.
